The 2007/08 league season will commence on Saturday 11th. August 2007 and close on Saturday 26th. April 2008.
The Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy Final will continue to be played on Easter Saturday which this season will fall on Saturday 23rd. March 2008.
The League Challenge Cup Final will be played on the May Day, Bank Holiday Monday which falls this season on Monday 5th. May 2008.
As in Previous seasons, the League Cup will start in on a group basis with the member clubs being placed in four groups at the Annual General Meeting.
The Groups as draw are as follows:
Group A: Basildon United, Clapton, Enfield (1893), Southend Manor
Group B: Burnham Ramblers, Hullbridge Sports, Beaumont Athletic, Concord Rangers, Maurtius Sports and Pennant
Group C: Sawbridgeworth Town, Bowers & Pitsea, London APSA, Romford
Group D: Barking, Stansted, Eton Manor, Barkingside
Matches in the groups will generally be played on mid-week evenings during August, September and October
Matches will be played within a "mini-league" with the top two sides in each group progressing to the quarter-finals which will also be played over two-legs.
The winners will then progress to a two-leg semi-final and thence to the final which will be played on the May Day Bank Holiday Monday on a neutral venue.
